SCFIS(Europe) futures (EC) is a shipping-index-based futures. The underlying Index is “Shanghai (export) Containerized Freight Index based on Settled Rates (SCFIS) (Europe service)”. The Futures is listed on Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE), which provides an effective risk management tool for shipping market to avoid the fluctuation of freight rates.
